Arsenic and Old Lace

I’ve started on Arsenic and Old Lace. I don’t know what possessed me to do it in a hexagon pattern. Putting them together may just be a challenge. I’m thinking maybe black sashing between the blocks with red triangles at the corners.

I have no idea how big this will be. I guess it depends on when I get tired of piecing blocks. It will give me a chance to use some of that massive stash of lace I have. I had a large stash already when a lady from my guild brought me a HUGE box of lace that had been her mother’s stash. I have no shortage of fabric and embellishment; I’m at the point where I just can’t find what I’m looking for.

Hi just found your blog through stitching fingers. Love you take on quilting. This hexagon one is coming along well. I like the lace mix with skull ans cross bone. Very cool, hope this one keeps going and you dont tire from it.

I have quite a few hexagon blocks also. You will have your quilt done long before me, even though my blocks are much older! LOL
